GiluFunds is a nonprofit platform dedicated to supporting cat rescues and individuals who care for stray and feral cats. We provide a fundraising space where rescuers can create campaigns for financial assistance while engaging a community of donors who want to make a difference.

Unlike traditional crowdfunding platforms, GiluFunds focuses exclusively on cat rescue and welfare. We ensure that donations directly support critical care, TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) efforts, medical treatment, and adoption initiatives. Additionally, our operational model keeps overhead low, so more funds go directly to saving cats.

GiluFunds was created first, and Gilu was launched as a way to generate revenue without using fundraising dollars for salaries.

Gilu is an online store where every purchase helps fund GiluFunds’ mission, allowing us to remain financially sustainable while maximizing donations for rescue projects.

Rescue organizations and individuals can submit a campaign request through our Feline Assistance Network (FAN). Once approved, their campaign appears on the FAN Campaign Hub, where donors can contribute directly.

Registered 501(c)(3) rescue organizations and verified individual rescuers with a demonstrated history of responsible cat care may apply. Each submission is reviewed to
ensure funds go toward legitimate cat welfare initiatives.

The Purr-sistence Fund is GiluFunds’ monthly giving program. With a minimum donation of just $1, supporters can contribute regularly to sustain ongoing cat rescue efforts.

Donations to this fund are distributed strategically to support urgent and high priority FAN campaigns.

Yes! You can donate directly to specific campaigns featured on the FAN Campaign Hub or contribute to the Purr-sistence Fund, which helps multiple rescue efforts.

Yes! GiluFunds is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. You’ll receive an email receipt for your records after donating.

Every campaign goes through a review process before being published on GiluFunds. We verify rescue organizations’ nonprofit status and assess individual rescuers based on their experience and history of responsible cat welfare.

If you are an independent rescuer in need of support, you can apply to the Feline
Assistance Network (FAN). We evaluate each request to ensure donations are used
effectively and transparently.

GiluFunds is committed to keeping operational costs minimal. The majority of funds raised go directly to FAN campaigns, with a small percentage allocated for platform maintenance and outreach to grow our impact.

GiluFunds is a newly established nonprofit organization. While we do not yet have financial reports available, we are committed to full transparency. As funding begins to flow in, we will publish annual reports and donation allocation summaries on our Financials & Impact page to ensure accountability and build trust with our supporters.
